The Cygnet Project
Everyone behind the scenes at Burton Swans are very pleased to announce that the outdoor trail will now be going ahead from August for 10 weeks. Whilst we wont be able to have the cygnet sculptures displayed as a part of our main trail, we are planning on restarting workshops in September and they will all be on display at the end of the year at the Brewhouse.
We are happy to facilitate these workshops to fit in with your social distancing policy and have a few ideas how to make that work so as many participants as possible can be involved.
We also have a second option to leave a video introduction and instructions, the cygnet sculpture, equipment and materials with your group if you would like to take part but would rather not have an art workshop leader enter your premises. We will deliver to your door in the morning, and collect at the end of the day.
Please get in touch to rebook or book a workshop date
Burton’s Brewhouse Arts Centre is part subsidising the cost of an artist visiting local schools with a smaller cygnet version of our swans for pupils to decorate.
If you are an established or emerging artist, we’d love to receive your ideas for our swan sculptures.
We are looking for businesses, community groups or individuals to sponsor one of our 25 scintillating swans.
